法史／キリスト教教義学〜神学についての教養がまるでなくても読めるところがありがたい。合衆国のひとすごい。

だから大著になっちゃうんだなぁ。

• 本日の一行要約（前半）：
  アンセルムスは神「学」──神を（信仰によってではなく）理屈で理解できるようにすること──の基礎をあたえた（というよりむしろ「つくった」）。それが西ヨーロッパにおける法の意味を根本的に変えてしまったのだが、実はアンセルムスの神学は ローマ法をパクった(!)ものだった。
